iSite: Primary Grade Global Communication and Collaboration Project - Creating, Publishing, and Sharing Online ABC Books

Overview

This project challenges students to create electronic books that are curriculum based and that students can access in school and at home. This project can be differentiated for use with any content area and with all grade levels.  Students will construct their own knowledge about the content as they learn to manipulate PowerPoint slides in creation of their online books. Students will research their topic and then learn to insert text, input images and record audio.  This project allows teachers to develop a library of curriculum- relevant electronic books that teachers and students can read and listen to anywhere, anytime.
