Office of Instructional Technology

The Office of Instructional Technology, in collaboration with the Office of Middle School Initiatives, is pleased to announce an innovative program, where several schools will be selected to participate in an iLearn iPod Initiative.

The iPods will allow students to have a true differential learning experience that supports deeper content undetstandings and improved communication skills. Students will learn how to record, distribute and access podcasts by creating book reviews, newsletters, virtual field trips, summaries, interviews, radio shows and more.

As a portable multimedia center, the iPod has the potential to extend learning and engage students.

Applications for the iPod initiative are no longer being accepted.
