Overview

OIT provides a variety of “train the trainer” professional development opportunities that support the integration of technology into the curriculum. iCoach offers a plethora of professional development services designed to collectively develop the “whole coach”. Thus, the overarching aim is to “cultivate the capable coach”.

OIT services intrinsic to the achievement of this goal are as follows:

1. Develop instructional technology “residents” for local support
2. Create a common language of instructional practices
3. Provide standardized toolkits for Instructional Technology Specialists
4. Support push-in professional development
5. Collaborate with AIS, and core curricular instructional specialists

We strengthen the receipt and delivery of professional development for OIT Instructional Technology Specialists and designated Instructional Technology Specialists in every school.
