Overview

In order for true integration of instructional technology to be successful, the principal and other school leaders need the appropriate tools and resources to support their teachers and students in the effective uses of technology. To that end, OIT can:


1 - Help schools create long and short term Technology Plans, including:

     • Technology walk through protocol

     • Teacher assessment of skills/PD/resources

     • Quality Review

     • Curriculum integration/development

     • Creation of Technology Plan

2 - Assist administrators with Data-Driven Decision Making

     • Provide Principals Digital Tools

     • Training

     • Support

3 - Offer consultant services on a variety of topics
     • Collaboration with Content Instructional Specialists
     • Project Management services
     • Software/Hardware evaluation
     • Technology Grant Management

4 - Provide professional development for administrators
     • Use of Information Technology
     • Rubrics for observing technology-rich classrooms

5 - Write and review grant proposals, including Peer Review and Reso A

OIT trains instructional leaders to utilize technology tools for instructional leadership to support the core curriculum with a computing device pre-loaded with appropriate resources and applications.
