What is my OIT alias

Your alias is the part of your email address to the left of "@schools.nyc.gov".
If your email address were jdoe@schools.nyc.gov, your alias would just be "jdoe".

I get an error that says "Your username and/or password didn't match the records in our system." What do I do?

The first thing to check is that you are entering your alias and password correctly. If you are, you may need an account created for you. Use this link to request a OIT account. You will be emailed the results of your request.

My password doesn't work

Have you received an email telling you what your new OIT password will be? If not, you may need to activate your account. Remember, your password on this system is not the same as your password for your NYCDOE email.

Passwords are case sensitive, and must be entered the way they were given to you. If you would like to change your password to something you can more easily remember, you can do that here.

I never received a password

If you never received an email, please check to make sure you are able to receive mail. If your inbox is full, or you haven't permanently deleted your mail, you may not be receiving email. If you are having trouble with email, contact the DIIT Help Desk.

I lost/forgot my password

If you have forgotten or lost your password, you can use our new Automated Lost Password tool. If you have trouble with it, you can still contact the webmaster and ask to have it manually reset.
